Desert Overhead Door, Inc. is a local, family-owned and operated residential garage door and openers installation, service and repair company. Based in Palm Desert, we serve the entire Coachella Valley, including Palm Springs, Cathedral City, La Quinta, Indio, Rancho Mirage, and Coachella.

Meet the Owner

Brodie Childers began his garage door industry career in 1994 at Rescom Garage Doors and was based in the Santa Ana office. He began as an Installer and worked all over Southern California installing residential garage doors and openers for new construction.

In October of 2004, Brodie started Desert Overhead Door, Inc. in Cathedral City. His objective was to provide his customers with quality products and reliable service at affordable prices. Brodie has maintained that goal by keeping the company relatively small so he can be "hands on."

Desert Overhead Door, Inc. is still family-owned and operated. Brodie still answers the phones and does most of the sales calls himself, while his wife Monique helps out in the office. Brodie and Monique have been married for 23 years and have a beautiful daughter, Brooklyn.
